Sourcing green assets
We travel far and wide to source the best trees, scrubs and plants “green materials” for your projects and have fun doing it.
We have been busy near Bicester supporting the delivery of Green Space in a housing development.
We are delighted to assist in the Graven Hill development which provides 1,400 new homes, a community hall and changing pavilion, playing fields, a pub/restaurant/hotel of up to 1,000 sq m and parking areas, access and Green/Open Space
Our work here supports the Biodiversity Net Gain Assessment which is targeted to achieve a minimum of a 10% net gain for biodiversity.
We supplied and planted of a diverse selection of tree whips including Acer Campestre, Crataegus Monogyna, Fagus Sylvatica, Prunus Avium, Quercus Robur, Rosa Canina, Salix Caprea, Sambucus Nigra and Viburnum Opulus to name a few.
Our work includes provision of all necessary labour and specialist machinery to plant over 1,000 whips. We sourced the whips (all 60 to 80 cm high bare root) and planted within a 1m mulch layer to 50mm depth.
Maintenance and Quality Control
We finished off the site installing a 2,000mm high fence with intermediate posts at 3.5metre and a pedestrian gate with associated ironmongery. We supported the customer with a post planting watering schedule to support traction of the whips. We look forward to seeing the Green Space bloom, it will be a great vision of colour as the whips mature.
