Talbot quality recognised again - Talbot Farm Landscapes

Validation of Talbot Landscapes quality systems

Talbot continue to invest in personnel, equipment and processes to place the business in the best possible position for contract awards. Integral to this investment is our application of our ISO9001 accredited Integrated Management System.

Our processes are further tested under the auditing standards of veriforce CHAS. We are pleased to report that our team have been assessed again and we have requalified under the CHAS Advanced Standard. Congratulations to all the team.

The annual audit completed recently included a thorough assessment by the CHAS team and confirmed that we meet the SSIP standards, the Social Value Assessment and the BSI PAS 91 Standard.

Key Features of CHAS Advanced include:

Improves Contractor Visibility:

Successful CHAS Advanced accreditation increases a contractor’s visibility with clients who use the CHAS system to find suitably qualified and compliant partners.

Comprehensive Risk Assessment:
Beyond basic health and safety, the Advanced assessment includes an additional eight modules covering areas such as:
○ financial stability
○ corporate social responsibility
○ equality and diversity
○ information security and
○ modern slavery.

Meets SSIP and PAS 91 Standards:
This approval helps contractors demonstrate compliance with the SSIP and the British Standards Institute’s PAS 91 PQQ system.

Streamlined Prequalification:
By completing the CHAS Advanced assessment, Talbot Landscapes can provide a single, detailed response that can be used for multiple projects and clients, reducing the need to complete different PQQs for each tender.

Targets Larger Projects:
This accreditation is essential for leading landscaping contractors who routinely tender for larger contracts, showcasing a higher level of governance and risk management. than the entry-level CHAS Standard,

Holly Fleming, Operations Director at Talbot Landscapes commented:

“I would like to thank the team for the continued commitment to quality standards as recognised with this independent validation as we continue to streamline our processes, providing great service to our customers. Both CHAS Advanced and our ISO9001 Integrated Management System are essential ingredients in our tendering and completion of larger projects across the UK”.
